The Great Carson City Lit Fest is a three-day celebration of the arts, with the focus on books, authors and literacy. More than 50 critically acclaimed authors, poets, performance poets, memoirists and storytellers will give readings, panel talks and sign their books.
Plus an unplugged battle of the bands, storytelling, cooking with Kid Chef Eliana, kids' activities, and more. All free and open to the public. PLUS a media swap meet: buy, sale and trade your used books, music and movies.
Ticketed events include world class slam poetry at The Great Slam and two performances of FLIRTING WITH THE MONSTER, the stage adaptation of Ellen Hopkins' NY Times bestselling novel, CRANK.
